Ginger Hill is a well respected coarse fishery, with 3 fishing lakes, all newly stocked in recent years.

Within the ponds, are an abundance of Common, Mirror and Crucian Carp, as well as Tench, Roach and Rudd.

Stocks of Common and Mirror Carp are estimated to be up to 30lbs plus in weight. Tench are up to 8lbs in weight.

Vouchers are available for gifts.

It is advisable to use a minimum of an 8lb line when fishing in our ponds.

At Ginger Hill, we are recognised for having a well-stocked fishery. So that you and other anglers can continue to enjoy our ponds, please be considerate of the following:

• Barbless hooks only.
• A maximum of 2 rods per angler.
• When taking photos, please kneel and do not lift fish more than 12 inches off the ground. These ones are not designed to fly!
• All nets must be dipped before coming on site.
• All fish must be returned to the ponds, as soon as possible.

N.B. there is no shop or café on site, so please bring your own food and dispose of rubbish in the recycling and general waste bins provided in the campsite.
